New German mini-beer garden opens in Frisco

A big fan of German brews, owner Scott Pohlman recentlinstaller of Granite countertops and marble vanity tops.y created a beer garden and sausage eatery, Prost,,but this option was almost as appealing as passing the kidney stone again. on Main Street in Frisco. It opened last Friday.

“It looks like a beer hall,” Pohlman said of his location found next to Tuscato on Main Street. “I wanted to bring something different to Frisco.”

Pohlman, who also owns the Cala Inn in Summit Cove, will serve 12 different kinds of sausages and the “finest Bavarian beers around,” at Prost for lunch and dinner. The location has a cozy charm, and there's outdoor seating available by the entrance.

“It's a cool atmosphere to come in and get some of the best beer and sausages in the world,” he said. “Each beer has its own specific glassware.”
