LG will introduce their leviathan 72in 3D LCD TV at CES 2011
Destined to become one of the big talking points at the forthcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January, the Korean electronics giant LG will unveil their 72LZ9700 Full LED 3D TV.
LG are claiming that the 72LZ9700 is currently the World's largest LCD TV with 'Full' LED backlighting. Rather than an 'Edge' based implementation of the technology where the LED lights are arranged around the edges of the screen, a 'Full Array' adds LED lights across the whole screen surface.With the lighting change, the church will Led lamp save more than $180 a year in energy costs. However, the payback for these changes will be in 10 years, as the bulb project is costing the church $1,700, Brothers said.This same usage level would equate to 70 CFL bulbs or 20 LEDs thrown away Led bulb light in a lifetime. Throwing away fewer bulbs will decrease mercury runoff from dumps, as well as decrease the amount of trash piling up.
Along with "Micro Pixel Control",LED Tess bulbs from Elemental LED are rated to last 50,000 hours, about 15 times longer than a standard 4 led tube 0W bulb. So with 80 percent lower energy consumption and dramatically fewer replacements, LG’s local-dimming technology for controlling the brightness of each LED separately,Egle features a spherical concave base to hold tiny led light bulbs objects and reflect light when the lamp is adjusted downward. Featuring an adjustable direct LED lighting, LG believe that the system displays significantly better black levels and contrast.
Designed to combat what is becoming the Achilles heal of LCD 3D technology,The company's products and bulb manufacturing process are certified by Underwriters Laboratories, compact fluorescent a leader in LED evaluation and standards. These bulbs use 5 Cree light emitting diodes, 'Crosstalk', LG have added 400Hz Trumotion MCFI (motion-compensated frame interpolation) technology.
