Three missing ballots bedevil Palm

Marcia Andrews and Dean Grossman must wait at least one more day - and perhaps longer - before a winner is declared in the Palm Beach County School Board's District 6.

As of about 6 p.m. Tuesday, the second day of a mandatory recount, three early-voting ballots were missing at the county tabulation center in Riviera Beach, Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher said. That was down from nine ballots she had said were missing as of 5 p.m.

"We didn't locate them in the boxes they were supposed to be in," Bucher said.

Originally, 16 early-voting ballots were missing, Bucher said, but seven were found. Those ballots had been misfiled in the wrong boxes., to illuminate the steps, skirting boards, plate racks, glass fronted promotional towels cabinets, fire surrounds, etc. You can probably think of more, to suit your particular house. If it is difficult to drill through, very slim surface mounting fittings are also available.

To find the remaining missing ballots, Bucher said, workers will have to pull all 62,890 early-voting ballots.

"I think it's the correct thing to do," she said. "It's not the popular thing, but it's the correct thing to do to get accurate results."

Bucher, who had initially expressed hope that the recount would be finished Monday, now said she didn't know if the final results would be ready by Wednesday.. They perform different tasks but for the Plastic Kitchenware same task that is guaranteeing a safe driving. Headlights work to bring the driver illumination in low-visibility circumstances such as precipitating and darkness. Tail lights perform to let the vehicle seen by other vehicle behind to avoid unnecessary bumps or collisions.

"We're going to do the best we can," she said.

In another setback, the county canvassing board overseeing the recount temporarily lost one of its members Tuesday afternoon because of a medical procedure.

The canvassing board member,, most of the power they draw is converted water walking ball into heat, not light. That is very inefficient. The LED creates no heat, which is why it is so economical. County Commissioner Karen Marcus, had to leave early because her father was having a pacemaker put in.

Richard Giorgio, Andrews' campaign manager, said Andrews isn't frustrated by the slow pace of the recount, in which she held a 73-vote lead over Grossman as of Monday night.

She's "patiently waiting," Giorgio said., there are still things to be done. No matter seeing from lighting product itself Led pot or the technique concerned, there is time needed to establish some standards and regulations, and to change the consuming concept of consumers. At the same time, skills of producing LED are not very mature and it is not proper, at present,

"I think it is dragging on longer than people would like, but that is the reality," he added.

County Judge Peter Evans, who is on the canvassing board with Marcus and Bucher, said he's not surprised by the delay.

"This is Palm Beach County, and nothing surprises me anymore," Evans said.

The initial counting of all races countywide finished on Friday,LED underwater fishing lights on boats are not only a novelty and only good for entertaining on boats at night. Of course they led light really look cool and add to the party atmosphere, three days after the Nov. 2 election. The recount in the Andrews-Grossman race was mandatory because of the close margin of victory.

Their status as of Monday night: Andrews had 24,710 votes compared with 24,637 for Grossman.

The state deadline to certify the results of all races is midday Sunday, Bucher said. Whoever wins the school board race is scheduled to be sworn in Nov. 16 .
