Mirc Elect plans to achieve Rs 2000 cr turnover this fiscal
Mirc Electronics that sells consumer durables under brand Onida expects to reach a turnover of Rs 2,000 crore this fiscal,, the LED must experience so many links of industry chain, such as reedabc the manufacturing and packing of the chip, the design of the products. Mirc, which registered Rs 1600 crore revenues in fiscal ended March, is now betting big on mobiles, LED TVs and air- conditioners to become a USD 1 billion turnover player by 2013.
"We hope to cross the Rs 2,000 crore turnover mark this fiscal. Going forward, we expect our three business verticals (mobiles, LED TVs and air-conditioners) to account for revenues of Rs 1,000 crore each over the next two years or so," G Sundar,. It is without doubt that there is large space and necklabel great prospect for the LED industry. At present, the market share that LED occupies is relatively small compared to traditional lighting.
